IRB and an Interview

I have submitted my IRB!! Hopefully I won't come across any problems!

Also, today I completed my first interview with Gene Davenport the executive director of The Georgetown Project! He provided me with a lot of useful information and he also gave me the contact information of several people within the community that are involved with the issue of homelessness. I finally feel like I am getting somewhere! :)

  1. That's great news. Waste no time and start transcribing!

  2. Good luck on your IRB. We should collect all the accepted ones from this year to keep for future groups as models.

What is The Georgetown Project's scope? I have met Mr. Davenport before (he is a Rotarian!). How do you think his background (it's in education, no?) impacted his knowledge and understanding of the situation? Do you think his association with the Rotary club impacted his duties and responsibilities?

Just some random questions. I did not know he was involved, though, in this project.
