i think i am going to make a questionnaire and give it out to non-feminists in order to get more data. I feel a little lacking in substantial non-feminist data, so it seems like a good idea to do. I think it will be quickly analyzed after this week, but make the study more substantial.Good luck to everyone else.
I think what would also be good is just having quick informal "interviews" asking those questions: what feminist is, what feminists do/want/etc. Use the free time you have at lunch, dinner, walking with someone across the campus to ask these questions.
ReplyDeleteGood questionnaires take a lot of work, and once you have them back--how do you analyze them? what do they mean? Their power usually lies in their ability to represent a community (so stats involved) but they are not as rich as interviews. I am not trying to discourage you, but I am afraid you might not be able to accomplish much with a questionnaire this late in the semester... :(
